Thanksgiving in P.R.

It all started with an hour and a half drive to Priest River, Idaho. I was excited to get to eat some home cooked food and catch up with family.

My mom was cooking up a storm in the kitchen, as well as my sister. They cooked up mashed potatoes, yams, corn, rolls, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and of course.....

...THE TURKEY. Which was amazingly moist and delicious. Food that was also brought over was a custard pie, home-made banana bread, and a buttery spiced acorn squash. There was also a home-made spiced butter made to go on the bread.

Everyone had a good time with food and drink. My family that were there included: dad, mom, Stacy (my sister), Ryan (brother), and Ryan's fiance Shirley. We did recieve a few phone calls from the East coast, more specifically Delaware from my Grandpa and Grandma.

Overall, it was a very good Thanksgiving with lots of food and conversation. After eating a heap load of turkey I practically passed out from the tryptophan in the turkey.
